Let It Break. Ulises Vargas July 8, 2025. Race to say “I love you” Stay on pace to leave you Lay peace and deceive you A grey heart won’t grieve you The best of good times, Give way to greater tragedies; Your closeness makes you bleed; Our intensity is too much speed You dream of a future, But I see nothing in us; You beam with love, But I’m sure I can’t trust We can’t remedy anymore So be a despondent bore, Or grasp just once more But either way, it’s a lost war We balanced extremes, But neither of us was healthy We shared a dream, Now your voice echoes deathly
The pen is my vulnerability. Mutual secrets line my writing. The poetry collection, “abstraction.”, is my most thorough yet. Check out abstraction.
